Duct Size Calculator – Privacy Policy

Duct Size Calculator is designed to respect your privacy. Your saved duct sizings, job names, and preferences stay on your device. The app does not require an account, does not use advertising, and does not sell or share your personal data.

What Duct Size Calculator collects

Duct Size Calculator is developed and operated by Foster Apps LLC. The app stores your saved duct sizings, job names, run lengths, material preferences, and settings locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export it yourself.

Duct Size Calculator does not:

• Collect or store your name, email address, or any personally identifying information
• Require an account or login of any kind
• Use advertising identifiers or build advertising profiles
• Sell your data to third parties

Product analytics

The app records a small set of anonymous, aggregate usage events (such as first open, reaching a core feature, and purchase completion) to help us understand which parts of the app are useful. Each installation is identified only by a random ID generated on your device — not your Apple ID, name, or any other personal identifier — and Apple's App Privacy label for this app reflects this as "Product Interaction, not linked to identity." No sizing values, job names, or other content you enter is ever included in these events.

Reminder notifications

Duct Size Calculator may request permission to send a single local reminder notification, requested only after you choose to enable it during onboarding — never at launch. You can revoke notification access at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications.

In-App Purchases

Duct Size Calculator offers an optional Pro subscription processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Foster Apps does not receive or store your payment information. Purchase history is managed by Apple. See Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Sizing reports

When you export a duct sizing as a PDF, it is generated entirely on your device. Duct Size Calculator does not upload your data to any server to produce the report. Sharing is handled by iOS's system share sheet — the data goes only to the destination you choose.

Diagnostics

If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may provide anonymised crash reports to Foster Apps. These reports contain no personally identifying information and are used solely to fix bugs.

Children's privacy

Duct Size Calculator does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, no account creation, and no social features.
