Summary

Milestone Counter is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy. Every milestone date, name, and count you track stays on your device. Milestone Counter does not run its own servers, create user accounts, or collect any personal data.

Data collection

What Milestone Counter collects

Milestone Counter is developed and operated by Foster Apps LLC. All data you enter — milestone names, dates, icons, and colors — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (MMKV). Nothing is transmitted to Foster Apps or any third party.

Milestone Counter does not:

  • Collect or transmit your milestone data.
  • Sell your data.
  • Track you across other apps or websites.
  • Use third‑party advertising SDKs.
  • Require a user account or login.
Notifications

Push notifications

Milestone Counter can send local notifications to alert you when a round milestone (e.g., 100 days, 1 year) is one day away. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to external servers. You can manage or disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

In-app purchases

Milestone Pro is available as a one-time purchase through Apple's App Store. All billing is handled by Apple. Milestone Counter never sees your payment details. Purchase management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Crash reporting

Error reporting

Milestone Counter may log anonymized, non-personal error information locally on your device to help diagnose crashes. This information does not include your milestone data, and it is not shared with Foster Apps or any third party automatically.

Support

Support email

When you email support at support+milestone@fosterapps.com, the contents of your email are stored in your email provider's systems. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in support requests.

Changes

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Milestone Counter evolves. When it changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will be revised. Significant changes may also be mentioned in release notes.
